Magnus Norman: Swede success

Swedish tennis players have always found Melbourne Park a happy hunting ground, and this year is no exception.

Twenty-three-year-old Magnus Norman is the latest in a long list of Swedes who have made their mark at the Australian Open, including Stefan Edberg, Mats Wilander, Thomas Enqvist and Mikael Pernfors.

On Friday, the in-form Norman (who won the ATP Tour title in Auckland two weeks ago) comes up against the defending champion Yevgeny Kafelnikov. And you can be rest assured he'll have his own personal cheer squad of crazy Swedish fans on Rod Laver Arena.
